PHOTOCOPYING costs could double at Nottinghamshire libraries, while rental rates for galleries are set to be slashed.
A3 photocopies will now cost 40p - up from 20p – while A4 copies will rise from 10p to 20p.
In new proposals put before Nottinghamshire County Council's culture committee today, the cost to hire libraries' gallery space has been reduced.
If the new fees are accepted by councillors, six weeks of full gallery hire at West Bridgford Library will cost £220, down from £250. Exhibition space at Arnold and Beeston libraries will drop to £60, or £30 for non-for-profit groups to rent the space for six weeks.
