CARL Froch's world title fight with Yusaf Mack next month is set to be his last in Nottingham.
And the IBF super-middleweight champion has promised to give his supporters another spectacular night to remember.
Froch was the underdog against the unbeaten Lucian Bute when he returned home for the first time in more than two years back in May.
But the challenger produced a boxing masterclass to demolish Bute inside five rounds in front of a sell-out crowd at the Capital FM Arena.
It made him a three-time world champion and given he is set to take on Bute in a re-match in March in Canada and then Mikkel Kessler, probably in Denmark later next year, it means this could be his last appearance in his home city.
And the 35-year-old said: "I feel like I am back on top of the world, in great shape and I am going to put Mack on his back.
"It is great to have back-to-back fights here and the fans are right behind me.
"There are plenty of big nights left and November 17 is going to show what a big draw I am and how excited people get when I fight.
"They are looking forward to another great performance like against Bute and they know I will not let them down.
"They know I am going to stand in front of this guy, put it all on the line and do the business and that is why people turn up to watch me fight.
"It is an entertainment business and I always entertain."
Froch's promoter Eddie Hearn said it was likely to be his last bout in Nottingham, as Kessler, who beat him in 2010, does not want to come to the city and a future fight with Andre Ward, the only other man to beat the Cobra, would take place in America.
"Fight fans need to come and embrace he is fighting in Nottingham again because it could be his last time," said Hearn.
"You need to enjoy it while you can because you always get value for money with Carl Froch.
"It was a total demolition against Bute and the atmosphere was something else. He wants the same again."
