A WOMAN has appeared before Nottingham magistrates charged with the murder of Sneinton man Kevin Kennedy.
Tara Swift, of West Street, Leicester, was arrested and charged earlier this week.
The 40-year-old, formerly of Sneinton, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday October 15.
Mr Kennedy, 50, was found on land between Rossington Road and Burrows Court on Wednesday August 8.
A Home Office post-mortem examination into the cause of his death proved inconclusive.
Peter Healy, 50, of Lord Nelson Street, Sneinton, is also charged with murder, as well as actual bodily harm (ABH) and theft. He remains in police custody. Anyone with any information should contact Notts Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
