The Brian Clough Trophy is back where it belongs.

After Nottingham Forest's late winner through Ben Osborn at the iPro Stadium gave them a 2-1 win over bitter rivals Derby County, boss Stuart Pearce was presented with the trophy live on Sky Sports.

Now back at the City Ground, the club were today showing off the silverware in front of the Brian Clough Stand to celebrate their victory and the return of the trophy to its rightful home.

After Robert Earnshaw's winner in the 1-0 scoreline at Derby back in January 2011, Forest then lost the trophy to Derby later that year in a 2-1 home loss in September and were unable to win it back again until Jack Hobbs' winner for the Reds two years later in a 1-0 win last season in September 2013.

But Derby's 5-0 home victory in March 2014 saw the Rams claw back the trophy and keep hold of it after the 1-1 draw at the start of this season on September 14 at the City Ground.

But Osborn's super strike means it's back with the Reds after over ten months without it in their possession and they will be hoping to keep hold of it for a long time to come.
