James Taylor hit an unbeaten 56 as England thrashed India by nine wickets in their second tri-series game.
The Nottinghamshire batsman guided them to victory alongside Ian Bell after Steven Finn and James Anderson dismissed the Indians for 153 in Brisbane.
Finn took five for 33 in Brisbane, a year after being told he was 'not selectable' during the disastrous Ashes tour of Australia. Anderson returned from a back problem to take four for 18, while Notts man Stuart Broad recorded figures of nought for 33 over seven overs.
Bell and Taylor had both been dismissed for ducks in the first game against Australia, but they showed their class with 88 not out and 56 not out respectively.
In fact, England's victory could have been more emphatic but for a stand of 70 between Stuart Binny (44) and MS Dhoni (34).
By this point, Finn had already sparked a collapse of four wickets for ten runs in 28 balls that reduced India to 67 for five.
Anderson mopped up the tail giving England overs to bat before team. They lost Moeen Ali for eight when he picked out Virat Kohli at mid-off off the bowling of Binny.
Bell made 187 in the final warm-up game but this was his ODI half century in ten appearances. Taylor picked up his third 50 in six games and it was he who swept the running runs, giving England a morale boosting first win under the permanent captaincy of Eoin Morgan.
