East Leake: Police are appealing for information after two burglaries between 10am on February 21 and 8am on February 22 in Elm Avenue. Anyone who witnessed the incidents or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area in recent days should contact PC Kelly Warwick on 077259 25330.

Rushcliffe: People are being invited to join a free 5km run which takes place every Saturday in Rushcliffe Country Park. It is called Parkrun and starts at 9am. Runners must register at www.parkrun.org.uk/rushcliffe.

Keyworth: People in Keyworth who have lost a loved one and may need someone to talk to are invited to the Keyworth Self Help Bereavement Group. It meets on the last Tuesday of every month, which this month is tomorrow, on the ground floor of Keyworth Health Centre. The next meetings take place on March 26 and April 30. Plumtree: A flower festival will be held in March.

Easter flowers will be on show at St Mary the Virgin Church on Sunday, March 31 from 2pm until 5.30pm and Monday, April 1 from 11am until 5pm. People are invited to go along and enjoy the displays as well as a cup of tea.

Ruddington: An organised walk will take place on Sunday, March 3. Ruddington Footpaths Preservation Group's walk will go from Lady Bay to Holme Pierrepont. People are asked to meet on the Green at 2.15pm.
