PLANS for 800 new homes in Netherfield have gone on show.
The proposals also feature new sports pitches and potentially a new school, and are on display in Gedling.
Developer Northern Trust Company Ltd is behind the proposals for land off Teal Close and has launched a public consultation before it submits a formal planning application on the £96 million project.
It will include affordable homes and sports pitches as well as a business area with a new hotel, care home, offices and industrial units.
Northern Trust says the proposals will create an estimated 187 construction jobs, as well as 430 new full-time equivalent job opportunities when the scheme is up and running.
Residents are invited to view plans and leave feedback at Carlton Town Football Club, in Stoke Lane, today. Plans and representatives from Northern Trust will be available to answer questions until 7pm today.
Northern Trust will be meeting community groups and launching a website, www.tealclose.co.uk, where people can view the plans.
