FIVE Notts buildings have been shortlisted for a regional architecture prize.
Those shortlisted include:
Highfield House, at the University of Nottingham by Lathams, Orchard Hotel, a sustainable hotel at the University of Nottingham by RHWL Architects, private house The Court, Nottinghamshire by Alex McIntyre Architects and the new E.on building in the city centre Trinity House, Nottingham by maber architects.
The Gateway Building in Sutton Bonington which ispart of the University of Nottingham, which was designed by architects Make, has also been shortlisted for the 2013 Awards.
Mark Jermy, Chairman of RIBA East Midlands, said: "It is fantastic that these 10 East Midlands projects have been recognised for their design excellence and shortlisted for RIBA Awards.
"It's also important to see the innovative and high-quality work of our regional architects being celebrated in this way."
All shortlisted buildings will be assessed by a regional jury with the winners of an RIBA East Midlands Award announced on the evening of Wednesday, June 12 at Millennium Point in Birmingham.
