A MAN has been fined £415 for dropping a cigarette.
Darryl Woodward of Cossall pleaded guilty to the offence under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 27.
Mr Woodward was witnessed by a neighbourhood warden dropping the cigarette end onto the road in Kimberley on September 8, 2012.
It is criminal offence to drop litter and fines can go up to £2,500.
