NOTTS County boss Chris Kiwomya admits there is a bit of uneasiness at Meadow Lane because the future of so many players is up in the air.

Kiwomya is still deciding which players to offer new contracts and will wait until the Magpies have played their last four games before making his mind up.

They face Bournemouth in League One today and he said: "We've got to the end of the season where there's a lot of players out of contract so there is a little bit of uneasiness about the place because players don't know where their future is going to be.

"There are still a few players I will look at because I never say never.

"Some of them might go out in the next few games and find their goalscoring boots or bring something else to their game that I haven't seen so far.

"I haven't spoken to anybody – all I have said to the players is go out and give me 100 per cent and let's try and win games."

After playing the Cherries, Notts end the season with games against Colchester United, Doncaster Rovers and Coventry City and Kiwomya wants to end the season on a high.

"I'd like to get wins because wins breed confidence, that's what I want to do," he added. "One or two players are probably playing their last games for Notts County so they should go out there and give the fans a good impression and leave on a good note.

"There might be some of those players that will stay so they have got to fight for a contract. I just want us to finish as high as we can."

Notts have won three, drawn six and lost four games since Kiwomya took charge back in February.

"I have been very happy with the performances of a lot of the players and apart from the last two results the results haven't been awful," he said.

"There have been too many draws, but when you come into a team you can't change everything straight away, it's more to see what players can go out and give me what I want next season."
