A SERIOUS case review will be held after a Notts couple were jailed for a series of sex attacks on girls.
Robert Oldham, 53, and Rita Oldham, 51, of Greendale Crescent, Clipstone, were sent to prison in February for a total of 26 years.
Robert Oldham pleaded guilty to 16 offences including rape and indecent assault, and was jailed for 20 years.
Rita admitted rape, indecent assault and willfully neglecting and exposing a child to assault and ill-treatment. She was given six years.
The offences took place at properties in Notts.
Chris Few, of the Notts Safeguarding Children Board, said yesterday a panel from the group recommended a serious case review should be carried out in to the abuse.
He said: "I agree with that view and have commissioned a serious case review.
"This will examine the circumstances surrounding the case and identify whether there are ways in which services might be improved to reduce the risk of future harm to children."
