SPECIALIST property litigation firm Brady Solicitors has recruited Amy Hope- Smith from Nelsons Solicitors to spearhead a move into the commercial property sector.
Already established in the residential property management industry, Nottingham-based Brady's is launching its commercial property litigation in response to demand from clients with mixed-use and commercial developments.
Managing director Clare Brady said: "We've built a strong reputation for success in purely residential developments but have been seeing more and more enquiries for dispute resolution services relating to commercial and mixed-use properties.
"Landlords and agents with mixed-use developments, such as an apartment block together with shops or office accommodation, face particularly interesting challenges when managing disputes with leaseholders and tenants.
"We have recruited Amy to build a dedicated team so that we can provide our commercial and mixed-use clients with a seamless and successful property litigation service.
"Amy's appointment marks the start of the next chapter in Brady Solicitors' development and I'm confident she will deliver a fantastic service to our clients.
"She's ambitious, technically strong and has a real go-getting approach."
Amy spent five years at Nelsons, where she specialised in commercial disputes. She said: "I have been given an excellent opportunity to join Brady's when they are growing quickly and at such an exciting stage in their development.
"I hope that my background in commercial litigation and my network of regional contacts will ensure we can quickly make our mark in the commercial property arena."
