FIVE homes have been targeted by burglars in the same village street in three days.
Police investigating the thefts in Langwith are appealing for information.
The five homes were burgled in Dale Close between Thursday, March 28 and Saturday, March 30.
In one incident at about 10pm on the Friday thieves got in through a ground floor window and stole cash and personal documents.
Burglars also forced their way into another house between 9am on the Thursday and 2.45pm on the Saturday.
They stole cash and jewellery including two lockets, a wedding ring, an eternity ring and two pairs of earrings.
Another house in the road was targeted between 6.45pm and 10.20pm on the Friday.
Offenders forced the back door open and took cash, jewellery and a digital camera.
Burglars broke into a fourth house on the same cul-de-sac that day between 6.15pm and 10.20pm and stole ornaments and jewellery including five rings, a man's watch and a chain.
A fifth house was then targeted but nothing was stolen.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the break-ins.
