Seven people have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a man in Nottingham.
Two men, aged 49 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of kidnap at an address in Flintham, near Newark, on the evening of Wednesday 24 April 2013.
Three other men, aged 54, 50 and 22, and a 20-year-old woman, were arrested at the same address, also on Wednesday 24 April 2013, on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap.
A 45-year-old woman was arrested at an address in Sneinton, Nottingham, on suspicion of kidnap on the evening of Thursday 25 April 2013.
Five of those arrested remain in police custody for questioning.
The 20-year-old woman and 22-year-old man have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The 42-year-old victim, who lives in Manchester, was taken to hospital with minor injuries, after he had allegedly been held against his will since Monday 22 April 2013.
