Investigation begins after body found in church yard

AN INVESTIGATION has begun after a body was found in the grounds of a church in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The discovery was reported to the police at around 8pm on Friday 26 April 2013. A man's body was found in the grounds of St Mary Magdalene Church, in Church Avenue. A cordon is in place and examinations of the scene are continuing. At this stage, the death is not believed to be suspicious.
