FOOTBALLER Marlon King has been arrested and released on police bail after a crash in Winthorpe on Friday.
Mr King, who plays for Birmingham City, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a three car smash at Winthorpe which left one motorist seriously injured.
Former Forest player King was arrested on his 33rd birthday following the collision on the Lincoln-bound carriageway of the A46/A17 interchange at about 2.50pm.The cars involved were a Porsche, a Volkswagen Polo and a Vauxhall Astra.
The driver of the Polo, 35, was air-lifted to Queen's Medical Centre with serious injuries.
Others suffered whiplash injuries.
