NOTTS have secured a nine-wicket victory over local rivals Derbyshire in their LV= County Championship Division One match today.
Resuming on 143-5, the hosts were then skittled out for just 229 to set the home side a small total for victory on the final day at the County Ground in Derby.
England's Stuart Broad was in the wickets, taking four of the five Derbyshire batsmen to fall either side of two stops for rain delays - with Harry Gurney getting the other.
Despite losing Alex Hales early on, Michael Lumb's quick-fire 24 off just 13 balls helped the vistors reach 43-1 within 5.4 overs to secure victory.
