TWO teenagers have been arrested in connection with an attempted armed robbery at a bookmakers in Ilkeston.
Aged 18 and 19, the men were arrested on yesterday in relation to the incident at Coral's Bookmakers on Nottingham Road at about 9.30pm on Wednesday April 17.
A gunshot, believed to be from a shotgun, was heard on the day of the event, but no one was injured and offenders left the scene empty handed.
The suspects remain in custody and are being questioned by officers.
