POLICE have thanked the vast majority of fans after the Forest Vs Leicester City clash this afternoon – despite making six arrests after the game.
Following the final whistle in a nail-biting match which saw Forest lose 3 – 2 and the team's promotion hopes dashed, Notts Police attended a dispute on Pavillion Road near the City Ground.
The force arrested a woman and two men on suspicion of assault.
In a separate incident police also arrested a man on suspicion of assault, and a further two more men on suspicion of breach of the peace.
All six people are believed to be Forest fans.
Superintendent Mark Holland said: "Thank you to the vast majority of fans for their good behaviour."
