A MOTORIST was taken to hospital this morning Wed after a collision in Whitwell near Worksop.
Derbyshire Police were called to reports of a crash involving a Renault van and a lorry on the A60 Mansfield Road at its junction with B6042 Hennymoor Lane, at around 6.30am.
The male driver of the van had to be cut free by emergency services and was taken to King's Mill Hospital with what has been described as non-life threatening injuries.
The road is blocked in both directions.
