DETECTIVES investigating an attempted robbery are re-appealing for information a month after the incident happened.
A man entered News 4 U in Heanor's Market Place at about 6am on Monday, April 29.
He sprayed a can of liquid at the shop assistant who ducked out of the way.
The shop assistant called to a colleague to ring police and the suspect ran off along Wilmot Street away from the Market Place.
No-one was injured and nothing was taken.
The suspect is around six feet tall and of slim build. His face was completely covered with a scarf.
Police have reissued the appeal for information in the hope witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time will come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to a man who was jogging in the area and asked the shop assistant if she was ok following the incident.
