RESIDENTS are being invited to take a sneak preview of 52 new affordable homes set to be built in Radford.
Wates Living Space is encouraging local people and businesses to join them at John Carroll Leisure Centre on Denman Street from 2pm on June 5 to see the plans for the 55,000 sq ft development and discuss any concerns they may have about the works.
The £4.2m building scheme for Nottingham City Homes will border Highhurst Street and Clifford Street and will comprise a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes across two and three storeys.
Construction is set to commence in the summer with completion scheduled for the end of 2014.
Joanne Jamieson, regional managing director for Wates Living Space, commented: "It is of paramount importance to us that local people have the opportunity to voice any questions prior us commencing the work in the area, a dialogue that we intend to keep open throughout the project duration to ensure our neighbours are engaged in our work.
This is an important project for Radford and it is of equal importance that residents have the chance to be a part of the progress taking place. I'd like to invite those that are interested to come along and meet the team that will be leading the construction of these new homes."
