Crews from two fire stations were called to a flat in Hucknall this morning.
Notts Fire and Rescue said the blaze happened at a small flat in Nabbs Lane, shortly after 8am today, and involved a microwave.
The fire was attended by crews from Hucknall and Stockhill fire stations.
