A dancer and a dental nurse from Nottinghamshire are among 60 beauties on a mission to be crowned Miss England 2013.
Twenty-year-old Alice Kurylo, named Miss Mansfield and Sherwood Forest 2013, and 24-year-old Juliette Brashier, recently crowned Miss Nottingham, will this weekend take part in the contest finals at the Riviera International Centre in Torquay.
The competition attracted more than 20,000 entries from women aged 17 to 24 across the country.
The girls will be tasked with each making a dress from recycled materials and showing off their fitness skills.
They will also showcase their modelling abilities and reveal how much money they have each raised for charity in the run-up to the finals. The four-day contest, which begins on Thursday June 13, will conclude with a catwalk show on Sunday.
The Miss Mansfield and Sherwood Forest 2013 winner Alice Kurylo holds a Trinity Guildhall Diploma in musical theatre, and has appeared in BBC One's Waterloo Road. She has also been hired for radio voiceovers and radio adverts.
Alice, from Mansfield, works with young adults with special needs, and has in recent years helped to raise more than £7,000 for local charities.
Meanwhile Juliette Brashier, Miss Nottingham 2013, works as a dental nurse. She modelled for Ten Kate Honda at The World Superbikes Final, and supports a number of local charities.
Juliette aspires to become a head dental nurse.
In addition to the Miss England crown, the winner will enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip to the Miss World final and a holiday in Mauritius.
Meanwhile the Mr England finals will be taking place at The Grand Hotel on the Torquay seafront.
Miss England 2012, Charlotte Holmes, said: "I am delighted that the Miss England 2013 grand final is being held on my home turf and really hope to see another Miss Devon follow in my footsteps."
Miss England director Angie Beasley said: "We are really excited to be bringing the Miss England 2013 final to the South West Coast of England for the first time. It is a beautiful part of the country and I think it will make the perfect setting for the grand final.
"Charlotte, who came eighth in Miss World last year, has been an amazing Miss England and will certainly be a very hard act to follow, but I am sure we will be able to find someone fantastic to succeed her." To find out more about Alice, click here.
