Car fire on M1 southbound between J25 and J24

FIRE crews attended a car fire this afternoon, June 12, on the M1 Southbound between J25 and J24. A black Volvo car, which had pulled up on the hard shoulder, had smoke coming from a blown turbo. Fire crews from Long Eaton and Loughborough attended the incident, as well as the Highway Services and police . Crews made the scene safe before leaving at 5.23pm.
