A BUS company is promising improved affordable travel for Notts people.
National Express has announced that an extra 44 daily coach services are to serve the city.
The coach operator is to add additional coaches to existing routes serving Nottingham next month, in order to cope with growing passenger demand.
From mid-July onwards, 22 extra services will run to the city while 22 will depart from it.
Thirteen of these additional coaches will serve airports including East Midlands, Heathrow and Gatwick. These changes come into effect from Monday July 22.
National Express UK Coach Managing Director, Tom Stables said: "These extra services represent a significant boost to Nottingham's transport connections and have been put in place to cope with growing demand for coach travel. In addition to this, as the city faces the prospect of rail disruption this summer we are ready to step our services up a gear and ensure everyone has access to affordable, reliable transport."
