A 21-YEAR-OLD from The Meadows denies three assaults and using threatening behaviour. Matthew King, of Lamcote Grove, allegedly assaulted a woman and two men at Nottingham Trent University's Clifton campus and used threatening behaviour at the campus on May 11. He is on unconditional bail to attend his trial at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on September 9.

MATTHEW Malty, 37, of Barrique Road, Dunkirk, is accused of possessing a stun gun and cannabis in Coventry Road, Bulwell, on September 27 last year. Magistrates in Nottingham unconditionally bailed him until July 8.

A BULWELL man pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and using threatening behaviour. John McGarvey, 41, of Welton Gardens, was drunk and disorderly in Front Street, Arnold, and used threatening behaviour toward a police constable on June 11. Magistrates in Nottingham gave him a six-month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £50 compensation, £35 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

STEVEN Wilson, 26, of Goldcrest Road, Cinderhill, is accused of assaulting a man in Oceana nightclub, Nottingham, on February 1. After pleading not guilty at Nottingham Magistrates' Court, he was unconditionally bailed until August 28.

A MAN admitted using threatening behaviour in The Meadows on November 1 last year. Jamie McElvaney, 27, of Barrique Road, Dunkirk, was remandeed in custody to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on July 1.

TEILA Poole, 19, of Byron Street, Hucknall, has pleaded guilty to as saulting a police officer. The offence happened in Nottingham on May 27. Nottingham Magistrates' Court gave Poole an 18-month conditional discharge. She must also pay £90 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER Palfreeman, 28, of Davies Avenue, Sutton-in-Ashfield, is charged with driving without due care and attention. He was in a Vauxhall Astra in Sutton Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, when he drove without due care on January 16. He is further charged with assault in Kirkby-in-Ashfield on the same date.He must attend Nottingham Magistrates' Court on July 15.

ALASTAIR Waller, 49, of Haywood Road, Mapperley, admitted assaulting his mother, who he cares for, in Porchester on June 12. He was sent to prison for four weeks at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.

A CLIFTON man stole batteries and alcohol in Nottingham. James Cartledge, 51, of Kilsby Road, took the batteries, valued at £3.25, from Wilkinson's shop, Parliament Street on June 13, and a bottle of WKD, worth £3.25, from Sainsburys, Wheeler Gate, Nottingham, on June 18. After admitting two charges of theft, he was given a 28-day prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. Nottingham Magistrates' Court ordered him to have alcohol-dependency treatment for six months and supervision from the probation service for 12 months.

A WOMAN has been banned from driving for two years after she was over the legal limit to drive. Tara Barnes, 23, of Henson Close, Radcliffe-on-Trent, was behind the wheel of a Mercedes in Mabel Grove, West Bridgford, when she was caught on May 3. She entered a guilty plea to drink-driving when she appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on June 24. She had 97 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35. A community order was imposed, with 40 hours of unpaid work, and supervision from the probation service for 12 months. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85.

KATHRYN Davies, 43, of Raglan Gardens, Newark, is due in court for allegedly being drunk and disorderly in the car park of the Nottingham Knight pub, Wilford, on June 11. Magistrates in Nottingham unconditionally bailed her to attend on Thursday.

KEVIN Hayden, 45, of Stanhope Crescent, Arnold, allegedly drove while disqualified. Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard he was banned from driving when he was behind the wheel of a Subaru in Arnold Road, Bestwood, on June 14. He is on unconditional bail to attend court on July 15.

A BILBOROUGH woman is accused of possessing drugs with intent to supply. Annya-Michelle Johnson, 20, of Old Park Close, allegedly possessed diamorphine and crack cocaine in St Ann's on September 19 last year. She is conditionally bailed to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on July 8.

A CLIFTON woman is denying with drink-driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. Ruth Laskowski, 22, of Leverton Green, is due to have a trial at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. She is alleged to have been in a VW Golf in Swansdown Drive, Clifton, with 84 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35. She is also said to have been driving the VW Golf without a licence or insurance in Swansdown Drive on May 11. She is on unconditional bail to attend court on September 5.
