FIREFIGHTERS rescued a horse from a ditch.
The owner was waiting for a vet to attend the stuck animal when the rescue was made in Wood Lane, West Markham at around 9pm on Monday August 4.
Crews from Retford, Tuxford and Highfields fire stations were called to the scene.
They used a haul line and strap to bring the large horse to safety.
