THE sentencing of a pensioner, whose wife lost an eye after he wounded her with a knife and scissors, has been delayed for the fourth time.
The case of Morris Poismans has now been referred to a community psychiatric consultant for older people.
Poismans, 68, of The Patchills, Mansfield, admitted wounding his 67-year-old wife, Margaret, at a hearing at Nottingham Crown Court last December.
A new sentencing date is yet to be arranged.
