MANSFIELD Town's Matt Rhead struck a stoppage-time equaliser to ensure Mansfield Town go into tomorrow's FA Cup third round draw.
The Stags looked to be going out of the competition at Lincoln Citythis afternoon until substitute Rhead headed home Louis Briscoe's cross late on to make it 3-3 and force a replay against their Blue Square Bet Premier rivals.
It was Mansfield who took the lead in the 21st minute of this second round tie, when Matt Green capitalised on a poor back pass to round goalkeeper Paul Farman and score.
But former Nottingham Forest trainee Alan Power equalised from a free kick on the stroke of half-time.
It got worse for the Stags less than two minutes after the restart when Jamie Taylor put the hosts in front.
Briscoe then levelled matters as the Stags winger hammered home a stunning 25-yard effort into the top corner.
But Lincoln got back in front when Taylor broke at pace, saw his shot saved by Shane Redmond only for Power to net his second of the game on the rebound.
However, Stags had the last word as Rhead struck in the second minute of stoppage time before Briscoe cleared off the line at the death to earn a replay.
