A Nottingham Trent fresher has been nicknamed 'Hickey' by pals after he racked up 50 love bites in just one night.
Matt Stainton's neck, chest and arms were left a bruised mess after receiving the hickeys from fellow female and male students.
The 19-year-old economics student was challenged to get as many love bites as possible by pals after bragging how good he was at chatting up women.
And he clocked up a stomach-churning 50 bites in just one night at Ocean nightclub in Nottingham last Wednesday.
Snaps taken by pals during the night out show scores of giant red bite marks on his neck as well as several on his chest and arm.
On Tuesday, casanova Matt, from London, said it was easy to get the hickeys - even though he went out dressed as a giant baby.
The first year Nottingham Trent student told The Tab student newspaper: "I just literally went up to a group with a friend, explained the challenge and asked if they could help.
"I never forced anyone into doing it though, I just said if you could help it would be great, if not don't worry and I'd be on my way.
"I knew a couple of people that helped and managed to barter with them to get some of their friends to join in as well. So it wasn't as hard for the first 15 or so.
"Then others realised people had actually done it so were willing.
"People have just either laughed or called it brilliant, some people did shout Ebola at me.
"It's helped me make a few new friends so it can't be that bad.
"I just think you have to make general conversation with someone and not be an idiot really."
