NOTTS failed to mount any resistance on the final morning of their LV= County Championship match as Middlesex cruised to a ten-wicket victory at Trent Bridge.
Resuming on 182-9, the hosts were hoping Andre Adams could continue his onslaught with the bat after his quick-fire half-century on day three to keep his side in the game.
But the Kiwi went to the first ball of the day, edging to Ollie Raynor in the slips off the bowling of Toby Roland-Jones.
Needing just 108 for victory, the opening pair of Chris Rogers and Sam Robson then looked comfortable at the crease to ease their side to victory before the lunch break.
Aussie Rogers, the team's skipper, made 51 not out off 63 balls and Robson 55 off 88 balls as the pair took just 25 overs to rattle off the runs and end on 110-0.
