A 22-year-old from Nottingham has wowed judges on ITV show Britain's Got Talent and won a place in the next round. MC Boy's infectious personality and comical dancing got the crowd going on Saturday night - even though his rapping was not up to much. The songwriter, real name Mpassi Belgard, told judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Simon Cowell that he would be performing one of his own tunes. He said: "I am a songwriter, composer and I am going to be performing a song called I Need You Tonight." He said he wrote the song after ending up in a club by himself. "My friends were dancing with girls. "I was lonely, everyone was dancing so I rang a girl to say I need you tonight, I wish you was here with me." And despite his questionable talent, MC Boy got 'yeses' from all the judges except Simon Cowell - and even had David Walliams on his feet, dancing around Cowell's chair. Even the audience were on their feet and singing along. After the performance Alesha said: "MC Boy what have you done to this place? You've got David up on the desk!" Simon added: "Can I just try to get some sanity back into proceedings? "I buzzed you because the song was terrible and the dance wasn't much better. You made the entire place go insane." But David disagreed, saying: "It is a great shame that Simon doesn't appreciate great music. It was infectious, fun, it has hit written all over it."WATCH: MC Boy's performance
