A RESTAURANT in Nottingham has been ranked third in the country by a national newspaper.
The Observer's Food Monthly placed the Michelin star winning Sat Bains in third place behind only The Seahorse in Dartmouth, Devon, and Polpo in London, which was in the top spot.
The paper said of the restaurant that it was a based on "one man's huge good taste and obsessive attention to detail".
Other restaurants in the top 20 were: The Yorke Arms, Nidderdale, Yorkshire, The Kitchen, Leith, Edinburgh and Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham.
