A man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault where a man was glassed in the face.
The 20-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and released on bail pending further inquiries.
Officers are still trying to trace a second suspect.
The 39-year-old victim was in the toilet at Buzz Bar, in High Street, Long Eaton, where he saw two men arguing. He was about to leave the room when he was suddenly struck in the face by a glass.
He suffered serious facial injuries. He was discovered by other pub customers, who entered the toilet shortly after the attack and raised the alarm.
The man was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he required a large number of stitches.
The men who attacked him were both white and aged about 20.
The assault happened at around 10.20pm on Friday, September 28.
